So I went to the anime expo, then. _{(This was my favourite picture btw, I'm not a big picture-taker).}

It was so awesome. My costume was a major hit. A maaaajor hit. Yes. Very. I was prolly one of the best Misas there. xP
There were so many Ls! Hundreds! Lol, well no, more like... fifteen, but whatever. Quite a lot of Death Note cosplayers overall - even a Ryuk! Heh.

I went with a Near, a Pain and a Konan (from Naruto) and two characters from Hellsing. My brother (Near) and I were the biggest hits, which is awesome as I sorted out both of our costumes.
I got sprayed in the face by a Dalek. D: With water. But I did hiss at it so maybe it was deserved, lol.

A while in, I noticed that loads of people had 'free hugs' signs. My brother made one and gave 100 Near hugs over the day. I, being me, decided to go ONE BETTER.
I made a sign that said 'Smooches for Yaoi'. As soon as I held it up to show my friends, an L cosplayer came up to me and asked if he could have a kiss. So I said yes. Heh. I basically just did free kisses then. I DID trick quite a few boys (and girls dressed as boys) into kissing each other though.~

...... There were these two girls, one dressed as Matt and the other as L. I showed them my sign and asked if they'd trade kisses for kisses. They kind of looked at each for a moment and then smooched. And then they both kissed me. They seemed worryingly enthusiastic, or at least that is what my friends said. I totally didn't mind.
There was this one group with a Misa, a Near, an L and a Light. I asked the L and the Light if they'd kiss each other (these two were actual boys) and the L seemed quite enthused but the Light was slightly more cautious. In the end they did it twice becasue I looked away the first time.
There were another two Ls as well, both of whom were Japanese and one of whom was very, very hot. I asked them, but I'm pretty sure they didn't figure what Yaoi was. One of them moved in to kiss me and I told him he had to kiss the other L first. It was very funny as, simultaneously, one of them said 'WHAT?!' and the other said 'Yeah alright!'. Hehheh... I would bet their friendship is a little weird now, but they did it!

There was also this extremely shy L who was totally surprised when I asked him for a kiss. But he said yes and then asked for a photo with me. His friend who took the photo was giving him 'get in there' vibes to the point when I bet they high-fived behind my back.

And there was this suepr-hot Link who was apparently there last year as well. I asked to get a picture with him before I started the kissing thing, and I think he checked me out a bit, so I went back later and asked for a kiss. He said yes. One of the girls in our group, it turns out, had a huge crush on him, so when it was mentioned later she was pretty jealous.

Overall though, Misa was one very happy Misa! Honey, who was keeping count, tells me I kissed thirty five different people. Am impressed with self.

Honey was filming a lot and got quite a few of these kissy moments on camera. I'll be making a video out of that and sticking in the other phots that we both took too. Expect a link in my journal sometime soon!
